The best way to help build up your website’s base authority is by building mini authority properties on powerful blogging platforms with contextual links pointing back to your website. An important feature about these properties is that you have complete control over them and create the anchor text “keywords” for your links. These popular blogging platforms have a high domain authority which helps boost your own websites base domain authority.

You can quickly set these up as they are free to create and the more you build out over time, the stronger your own website will become. This is a fantastic way to build up your anchor text ratio with a variety of different keywords. It is also a fantastic method to build up your brand awareness by using branded anchor text like your business or website name and your website URL.
I implement this in my monthly SEO campaigns that I run for my clients and it is very safe to do. The goal is to build 4 to 5 high authority blogging properties per month with about at least 2 posts on each property. Each article should have 2 anchor text backlinks pointing back to your website. When you start building these properties out with content, you are essentially building up your backlink profile.
Lets do the math. 5 blog properties with 2 articles each and 2 anchor text links in each article = 20 contextual backlinks per month! This can be scaled up at any time and as long as you are writing up good quality content and diversifying your backlink anchor text, you will not run into any issues with Google penalties. As I mentioned before, it is one of the safest ways to build up your backlinks.
Best approach with high authority blogging platforms is to point these backlinks to different pages on your website and not only to one page all the time. Always make it seem natural.

Use the above list as many times as you want by creating new properties on each with new usernames. You can also build a few and keep posting new articles. Make sure that you keep track of all the properties that you have created in a spreadsheet with login details and the anchor text that you are using.
One important thing to note is do not use the same anchor text keyword repeatedly. You do not want to spam any keyword. Use your brand and URL as anchor text, long tail phrases as well as generic words such as “click here”, “visit our website”, “learn more”. This helps with diversity.
It is time consuming to setup but worth doing to help boost your SEO.
Tip: Use these high authority blogging platforms as buffers with which you can send mass order backlinks to. Don’t ever send mass order low quality links to your own website.

2. Social Signals
Social signals are a simple as sharing your URL on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. Online Social media is massive these days and getting any kind of sharing or signal back to your website on social media is a very good indicator to Google showing them that you are being noticed. People are talking about you and this builds up authority.
You could do it yourself but I highly recommend that you outsource this task and the service that I suggest is SEOButler.com. Order anywhere from 200 to 10,000 social signals for the webpages that you are trying to rank. I usually create 200 to 400 per month and send signals to a couple of pages that I am targeting in a particular month.

3. YouTube Videos
YouTube Videos are a fantastic way to build up content as well as an authority in your market. These do not have to be complicated and can be as simple as pulling out your SmartPhone and filming a short clip about yourself, the services that you offer or about the products that you are selling. YouTube is a high authority property and owned by Google. With millions of users online watching videos and searching for content, this is a great platform that should be utilized.
Outsource your video tasks
If you are not into making videos, you can outsource your video creation to places like fiverr or any freelance platform. There are programs that can convert your blog posts into video posts that make for informative videos. The idea is to include a link back to your website in the video description. You can also rank on Google and YouTube for these videos using your main keywords.
